WHO SHOULD TAKE 49 CFR TRAINING
Our 49 CFR training is intended for shippers, freight forwarders, and hazmat employees involved in the handling, shipping, and/or transport of hazardous materials by ground.
The United States Department of Transportations (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) legally requires that anyone involved in the process of handling, shipping, or transporting hazardous materials by ground in commerce must undergo training before they can legally handle, ship, or otherwise have anything to do with such materials. This means they must know how to comply with all of the regulations prescribed in Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR) – specifically, the sections collectively known as the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR).
